BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the
minutes of this Board and in the records of the Petition for which
the extension is granted.

RELATING TO PETITION NO. PU-90-3 FOR EXTENSION OF
PROVISIONAL USE OF PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
IN COLI.IER COUNTY, FLORIDA.

WHEREAS, th~ Legislature of the State of Florida in Chapter
125, Florida Statutes, has conferred on all Counties in Florida the
power to establiSh, coordinate and enforce zoning and such business
regulations as are necessary for the protection of the public; and
WHEREAS, the County pursuant thereto has adopted a
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance establishing regulations for the
zoning of ,particular divisions of the County, among which is the
granting and extending the time period of Provisional Uses; and
WHEREAS, on May 8, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners
enacted Resolution No. 90-247, 'which granted a provisional use
pursuant to Ordinance No. 82-2, for Provisional Use "b" of Section
8.io, Essential Services, in an "E" Estates zone for a water

'.WHEREAS, Section 13, Paragraph 1, SUbsection e provides that
the Board,of Zoning Appeals may grant an extension of the one (1)
