RESOLUTION NO. 2008-385
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT KEVIN F. WALSH TO THE
ISLES OF CAPRI FIRE CONTROL DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 78-49 created an advisory committee for the Isles
of Capri Fire Services Tax District and provides that the advisory committee shall consist of
three to five members; and
WHEREAS, the term of one (I) member will expire creating a vacancy on this Committee;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Isles of Capri Fire Control District Advisory Committee has provided the
Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Kevin F. Walsh meets the
prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to the Isles of Capri Fire Control District
Advisory Committee for a 2 year term, said term to expire on December 31, 2010.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote on this the 16th day of
December, 2008.
