RESOLUTION NO. B 6- 8
RESOLUTION ADOPTING MODIFIED BUDGET
AMP.NDMENT PROCESS
WHEREAS, many budget amendments are presented to the Board of County
Commissioners in amounts less than $2,500: and,
WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Agency Manager, as defined in
the Uniform Accounting System Manual of Collier County, Florida, to execute
the authorized budget: and,
WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Budget Office to prepare and
monitor the authorized budget: and
WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Clerk of the Circuit Court as
Ex-Officio Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners to pre-audit
expenditures for compliance with the authorized budget:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Flo=ida that requests for budget changes to appropriations or
estimates 'of revenue in amounts of $2,500 or more shall require the approval
of said Agency Manager and the Board of County Commissioners except for
rpquctions to appropriated reserves, which require Board of County
Commissioners approval regardless of the dollar amount. Budget changes in
amounts of less than $2,500 require the approval of said Agency Manager only:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier

County, Florida that all budget amendment requests shall require the review of
the Budget Office and Fiscal Office prior to Board approval or final exe-
cution.
