RESOLUTION NO. 2008-306
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COllIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT PAMELA J. BROWN TO THE
IMMOKAlEE MASTER PLAN AND VISIONING COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 04-62, as amended, establishing
the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee, provides that this
Committee is to be composed of ten (10) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public
notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee has
provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Pamela J. Brown meets
the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed as Business Owner
and Citizen to the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee to fulfill the
remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on December 31, 2009.
This Resolution adopted on this 14th day of October, 2008, after motion,
second and majority vote favoring same.
