RESOLUTION NO. 2008-289
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT KAREN JOYCE HOMIAK
TO THE COLLIER COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Section 8.03.02 of the Collier County Land Development Code provides
for the appointment of nine (9) members to Collier County Planning Commission, plus a
non-voting representative from the School District; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy in Commission District 1; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Karen Joyce Homiak,
representing Commission District 1, is hereby appointed to the Collier County Planning
Commission to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on October
1, 2009.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote on this 23rd day of
September, 2008.
