RESOLUTION NO. 2008-266
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO
THE BUILDING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals ("Building Board") is
governed by Section 8.05.01 of the Land Development Code (LDC); and
WHEREAS, LDC Section 8.05.03 provides that the Building Board of Adjustment and
Appeals shall be composed of five (5) regular members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. William T. Silvester meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby
appointed under the category of State Fire Marshall to the Building Board of
Adjustments and Appeals to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire
on August 9, 2009.
2. John A. Melton meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed
.. {( ;" under the category of State Certified General Contractor to the Building Board of
-,". Adjustments and Appeals to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire
on August 9, 2009.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote on this 9th day of
September, 2008.
