RESOLUTION NO. 93 - ~
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COT.lNTY COMMISSIONERS TO EXECUTE THE UTILITY EASEMENT TO
FLORIDA POWER , LIGHT COMPANY CONCERNING THE COLLIER
COT.lNTY AQUATIC FACILITY LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS
GOLOEN GATE COMMUNITY PARK IN SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 49
SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST.
WHEREAs, Collier County, Florida, acquired title to certain
property known as the Golden Gate Community Park from Barnett
Banks Trust Company, by a Trustee's Deed recorded on September
2, 1983 in Otticial Records Book 1040, Page 219 of the Public
Records of Collier County, Florida;
WHEREAs, On October 20, 1992, the Board of County
COIIIlIIissioners approved the construction of an aquatic facility
on the 35 acre site located at 3300 Santa Barbara BOUlevard,
Naples, Florida 33999;
WHEREAs, Florida Power , Light Company is desirous of
extending utility services to accommodate the needs of the
Aquatic Facility; and
WHEREAs, The County desires to grant a utility easement to
Florida Power , Light Company tor the pUrpose of constructing,
lIaintaining and operating utility facilities to the aquatic
facility.
NOIf, THEREFORE, B1; II' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTy
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIl~. COT.lNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board ot County Commissioners does hereby approve the
attached Easement to Hodda Power and Light Company.
2. The Chairman ot the Board of County Commissioners ot Collier
County, F~orida, is hereby authorized to execute the attached
Easement; to Florida Power and Light Company.
