RESOLUTION NO. 93-~
RESOLUTION APPOINTING JAMES D. PROUD AND
MELVIN FORBIS TO THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
ON THE HOMELESS
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 89-22 created the
Advisory Committee on the Homeless and provides that the Committee
shall consist o! nins (9) members which shall be appointed to the
Committee by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Carl J. Kuehner and Phyllis Chambers resigned from
the Advisory Committee on the Homeless creating two vacancies; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COKKISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1) James D. Proud, from Commission District NO.2, is hereby
appointed to the Advisory Committee on the Homeless to fill an
unexpired term, said term expiring on May 15, 1996.
2) Melvin Forbis, from Commission District NO.2, is hereby
appointed to the Advisory Committee on the Homeless to fill an
unexpired term, said term expiring on May 15, 1996.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
