RESOLUTION NO. 93- 100
A RESOLUTION RENAMING THAT PORTION OF THE ISLES OF
CAPRI ROAD BETWEEN IIlHOKALEE ROAD AND U. S. 41
(TAMIAMI TRAIL EAST) TO COUNTY ROAD 951 (C.R. 951).
WHEREAS, the Board ot County commissioners is authorized by
Section 336.05, Florida statutes, to name or rename streets and
roads within the unincorporated area of Collier County, except
state roads designed by number by the Florida Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the Board ot County Commissioners has received
requests from citizens of Collier County to rename that portion of
the Isles of Capri Road which runs from the Immokalee Road South
to U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail East) to County Road 951 (C.R. 951); and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds it desirable
for identification purposes to Officially rename that portion of
the Isles of capri Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COIlHISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Isles of Capri
Road from the Immokalee Road south to U. S. 41 (Tamiami Trail
East) is hereby officially renamed to County Road 951 (C.R. 951).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that:
1) The Clerk to the Board is hereby directed to record this
Resolution in the Official Records of Collier County, Florida and
that proper notations be made upon the Street Maps and Zoning
Atlases of Collier County.
2) The Clerk to the Board is hereby directed to send a
certified copy of this Renolution to the Naples Postmaster, 1200
Goodlette Road, Naples, Florida 33942.
This Resolution adopted atter motion, second and majority
vote.
