RESOLUTION NO. 93-~
A RESOLUTION TO THE GOVERNOR RECOMMENDING
THE APPOINTMENT OF CHARLES RAY PALMER AND
MARY ANN GARCIA TO THE IMMOKALEE WATER AND
SEWER DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Water and Se_er District is an
independent district created by Chapter 78-494, Laws of Florida;
and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of Chapter 78-494, Laws of Florida,
provides that the governing body ot the district shall be
appointed by the Governor upon the recommendation of the Board of
Coun1:y Commissioners of Collier County, Florida; and.
WHEREAS, there are two vacancies on the Board of
Commissioners for the Immokalee Water and Sewer District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received
correspondence from the Governors Office with copies of the
Questionnaires for Executive Appointments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that pursuant to
Section 5, Chapter 78-494, Laws of Florida, the Board of County
Commissioners recommends to the Governor the appointment of
Charles Ray Palmer and Mary Ann Garcia to the Immokalee Water and
Sewer District Board of Commissioners.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
