RESOLUTION NO. 93- 7S
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ROSEMARIE J. D'HAEM
AND VICKI WILLIAMS TO THE MARCO ISLAND
BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 88-28 confirmed the
crea1:ion of the Marco Island Beautification Advisory Committee and
provides that the Committee shall be composed of seven (7)
membf~rs; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 88-28, as amended by
Ordinance No. 92-21, provides that five (5) of the members shall
consist of one (1) member from certain Marco Island community
orga~izations and shall be recommended by the President of the
orga~ization and t~o (2) at-large members; and
WHEREAS, there are t~o (2) vacancies on the Marco Island
Beautification Advisory Committee, one vacancy is for a remainder
term and the other vacancy is for a four year term; and
WHEREAS, the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce has recommended
to the Board of County Commissioners the appointment of Vicki
Williams; and
WHEREAS, one (1) member shall serve as an at-large member;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Vicki Williams is hereby appointed to the Marco Island
Beautification Advisory Committee as the representative of the
Marco Island Chamber of Commerce to fill the remainder of a vacant
term, said term commencing on February 23, 1993 and expiring on
March 1, 1994.
2. Rosemarie J. D'Haem is hereby appointed to the Marco
Island Beautification Advisory Committee as an at-large
representative for a four year term, said term commencing on
February 23, 1993 and expiring on March 1, 1997.
