RESOLUTION NO. 93- 92

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR
T-SHIRTS AND TROPHIES ASSOCIATED WITH STAFF PARTICIPATION
IN THE 1993 WALK AMERICA EVENT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 87-5 WHICH ESTABLISHED
THAT PERSONNEL RELATED EXPENDITURES ARE VALID AND PROPER
FOR COUNTY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-5 states that the
Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, shall
adopt a Resolution authorizing the expenditure of County funds for
valid and proper purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes the
worthwhile goals of the March of Dimes and the positive effects of
its employees participating in Walk America to help fight birth
defects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby
authorizes the expenditure of funds for T-shirts and trophies not
to exceed $1,200 for the WalkAmerica activities.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
