RESOLUTION NO. 93- 39.
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING JAMES MCMURPHY
AND JOHN HOYT AND APPOINTING ALAN B. VARLEY,
GEORGE WERNER, A.NTHONY PIRES, MARY LOU ALTHOFF
AND RICHARD HAMILTON TO THE PELICAN BAY MUNICIPAL
SERVICE TAXING AND BENEFIT U~IT ADVISORY r.OMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-111 created the
Pelican Bay Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory
Comaittee and provided that the Committee shall consist of nine
(9) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-22 amended Ordinance
No. 90-111 providing that the Committee shall consist of fifteen
(15) .embers; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received
notification that two (2) of the members have resigned; and
WHEREAS, the terms of five (5) of the members expired on
January 29, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1) Richard Hamilton is hereby appointed to the Pelican Bay
Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory Committee to
till an unexpired term, said term expiring on January 29, 1994.
2) Alan B. Varley is hereby appointed to the Pelican Bay
Municipal

6) Anthony Pires is hereby appointed to the Pelican Bay
Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory Committee to
till an unexpired term, said term expiring on January 29, 1995.
7) Mary Lou Althoff is hereby appointed to the Pelican Bay
Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit Advisory Committee tor a
tour year term, said term commencing on February 2, 1993 and
expiring on January 29, 1997.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
