RESOLUTION NO. 95-653
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 87-5 APPROVING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR OFFICE
EXPENSES TO COVER THE PURCHASE OF FLOWERS
OR OTHER ITEMS SENT BY THE COUNTY MANAGER'S
OFFICE FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS.
WHEREAS, from time to time, occasions arise when a gesture
from the county Manager's Office is appropriate; and
WHEREAS, flowers, greeting cards or other items are usually
sent for special occasions such as the death or severe illness of
a County employee requiring hospitalization; and
WHEREAS, to promote goodwill, it is appropriate to
communicate feelings and express sentiment for our employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~HE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that such expenses
incurred on behalf of county employees for special occasions as
noted above, are deemed appropriate and are hereby approved as
part of a limited petty cash allowance of $600.00 for each fiscal
year, subject to annual appropriation.
This Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 95-294.
