RESOLUTION NO. 95-..E9
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS FOR TIfE
IMMOKALEE ENTERPRISE ZONE DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY (EZDA) RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING
AND ADMINISTERING TIfE STRATEGIC PLAN FOR
TIfE IMMOKALEE ENTERPRISE ZONE.
WHEREAS, the State Government has enacted a program, the Florida Enterprise
Zone Program, to induce private investment into distressed areas to create economic
opportunities and sustainable economic development; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County has nominated
the Immokalec Community to be considered by the Florida Department of Commerce for
Enterprise Zone designation; and
WHEREAS, a broad base of citizen participation has been established as part of the
effort to apply for the Federal Government Empowerment ZontlEnterprise Community
designation and has been extended into this application to obtain a State Enterprise Zone
designation; and
WHEREAS, the ImmokaJec Enterprise Zone Development Agency (EZDA) was
created by County Ordinance no. 95-..R; and
NOW, TIfEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIfE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The following individuals are hereby appointed as members of the Immokalec
Enterprise Zone Development Agency. The appointment of these members shall be in
accordance with Section 290.0056 (I) through 290.0056(8), Florida Statutes.
