Resolution 1995-107 16C 4 RESOLUTION NO. 9S-~ RESOLUTION INCREASING LICENSE FEE FOR EACH DOG OR CAT UP TO ONE YEAR OF AGE FROM $6.00 TO $7.00 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-56 (The Animal Control Ordinance) provides that dog and cat license fees may be increased or decreased by Resolutions of the Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, The Director of Animal Control has recommended to the Board of County commissioners that the current approved license fee of $6.00 for each dog or cat under one year of age, neutered or non-neutered, be increased from $6.00 to $7.00; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners accepts the recommendation of the Director of Animal Control to increase the subject license fee from $6.00 to $7.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: 1. The current license fee for any cat or dog of less than one year of age (as established by paragraph No. 1 of Resolution No. 93-404) is hereby increased from $6.00 to $7.00. 2. No other Collier County Animal Control license fee is affected by this Resolution. 3. This Resolution ratifies all such license fees of $7.00 heretofore incurred or collected. BE IT FORTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Board of County Commissioners. This Resolution is adopted after motion, second and majority vote favoring adoption.
