RESOLUTION NO. 95-106
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES
FOR CREMATORY SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE
COLLIER COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The Collier County Animal Control Department has a
cremator to dispose of certain animal carcasses, which cannot be
disposed of by other methods, and
WHEREAS, This crernator is also useful to cremate the remains
of pets belonging to the general public who wish to preserve their
ashes in memory, and
WHEREAS, This crernator is also useful to local veterinarians
for animal carcass disposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the fees charged
for cremations services through the Collier County Animal Control
Department shall be as follows:
Disposal (landfill burial)
$ 8.00
$ 75.00
Save ashes (under 50 lbs.)
Save ashes (over 50 Ibs., under 100 Ibs.
$100.00
Additional cost over 100 Ibs.
$ 1. OO/lb.
Cremation without return
$ 40.00
Citizen request save (under 100 Ibs.)
$100,00
$100.00
Citizen request save (over 100 Ibs.)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be recorded in
the Minutes of the Board of County Commissioners.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote favoring same.
