A RESOLUTION APPOINTING KIMBERLY A. KUSHMAN AND
REAPPOINTING JOSEPH D. ZAKS AND BRUCE A. PRAY
TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board WdS created
on November 25, 1975 and was composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners on October 26,
1993 adopted ordinance No. 93-81 which increased the membership
from five (5) members to seven (7) members: and
WHEREAS, the terms of three (3) members expired on December
31, 1994; and
WHEREAS,
the Board of County commissioners previously
provided public notice sOliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1) Kimberly A. Kushman, representing the Naples and Urban
Area Community Park District, is hereby appointed to the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board for a four year term, said term expiring
on December 31, 1998.
2) Joseph D. Zaks, representing the Naples and Urban Area
Community Park District, is hereby reappointed to the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board for a four year term, said term expiring
on December 31, 1998.
3) Bruce A. Pray, representing the Immokalee Area, is hereby
reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a four
year term, said term expiring on December 31, 1998.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
