RESOLUTION NO. 95-43
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MARY W. SCHULTHESS AND
REAPPOINTED DOROTHY DEMICHELE TO THE DISTRICT
EIGHT ALCOHOL, DRUG ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH
PLANNING COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the District Eight Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental
Health Planning Council was created pursuant to the provisions of
Section 394.715, Florida statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, has received written notification from the District
Program Supervisor that there is one vacancy and one request for
reappointment from Collier County on the District Eight Alcohol,
Drug Abuse and Mental Health Planning Council; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received
written notification from the District Program Supervisor that the
nominating
committee
of
the
Department
of
Health
Rehabilitative Services Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health
Program Office of District Eight recommends the appointment of
Dorothy DeMichele to fill the vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Mary W. Schulthess is hereby appointed to the District
Eight Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Planning Council to
fill the vacancy, said term to expire in May, 1996.
2. Dorothy DeMichele is hereby reappointed to the District
Eight Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Planning Council for a
two year term, said term to expire in December, 1996.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
