RESOLUTION NO. 97-344
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
THE PUBLIC VEHICLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Public Vehicle Advisory Committee was established by Collier County
Ordinance No. 864, as amended; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 86-4, as amended, provides that the Public
Vehicle Advisory Committee shall cormist of five (5) members with (3) of the members being
affiliated as holders of certificates to operate a motor vehicle for hire company within Collier
County; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two (2) vacancies on this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. John Dougherty, representing the alternate category, is hereby appointed to the Public
Vehicle Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire
September 2, 2000.
2. Thomas W. Lugrin, previo~ly an alternate, is hereby appointed, in the affiliated
category, to the Public Vehicle Advisory Committee for a four year term, said term expiring
September 2, 2001.
3. Clifford Wesley Flegal, Jr., representing the non-affiliated category, is hereby
appointed to the Public Vehicle Advisory Committee for a four year term, said term expiring
September 2, 2001.
