RESOLUTION NO. 2008-226
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING JON C. STAIGER,
Ph.D. TO THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, which created the Land
Acquisition Advisory Committee, provides that the Committee shall consist of nine (9)
members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Jon C. Staiger, Ph.D.,
representing the categories of Natural Resources/Environmental Consultant, is hereby appointed
to the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said
term to expire on February 11,2009.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote favoring same,
this 22nd day of July, 2008.
