RESOLUTION NO. 2008-223
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING JEAN C. PAUL TO THE
IMMOKALEE MASTER PLAN AND VISIONING COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 04-62
establishing the lmmokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee which shall be composed of
ten (10) members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, through adoption of Ordinance No. 07-
69, extended the automatic dissolution and repeal of Ordinance No. 04-62 to not later than
December 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee has provided the Board
of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Jean C. Paul meets the
prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to the lmmokalee Master Plan and
Visioning Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on
December 31,2009.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote favoring same,
this 22nd day of July, 2008.
