RESOLUTION NO. 2008-177
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT MARIA (LUCY)
V. ORTIZ TO THE IMMOKALEE BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Collier County Ordinance
No. 2002-52 establishing the Immokalee Beautification Advisory Committee, which is
composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Committee for a member residing
within the MSTU area; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Beautification Advisory Committee has provided the
Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, that Maria (Lucy) V. Ortiz, resident of the MSTU area, is hereby
appointed to the Immokalee Beautification Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder
of the vacant term plus an additional four-year term, said term to expire on September
23, 2012.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
