RESOLUTION NO. 97-232
A RESOLUTION RESCIliDING A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE AUTHORIZATION FOR THE
COUNTY STAFF TO ACQUIRE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR A
CONNECTION BETWEEN CYPRESS WOODS DRIVE AND
GOODLETTE FRANK ROAD; RESOLUTION NO. 83-12
WHEREAS, the Goard or County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, on February 1, 1983, approved a Resolution
authorizing staff to acquire right-of-way to serve as a future
connection between Cypress Woods Drive and Goodlette Frank Road,
said proposed right-of-way is shown on Exhibit A ; and
WHEREAS, the Pl-oposed right-of-way was never acquired;
and
WHEREAS. the County as well as the city of Naples have
passed Resolutions limiting access to Goodlette Frank Road; and
WHEREAS, the Real Property Management Department and the
County Transportation services have acknowledged that the right-
Of-way is not needed; and
WHEREAS, the recorded pesol ut ion crea tcs a c louj on the
title to the property for the current property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that
Resolution No. 83-12 is hereby rescinded.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote favoring same.
