RESOLUTION NO. 96-~
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-642. THAT ESTABLISHED A FEE
SCHEDULE OF DEVELOPMENT RELATED REVIEW AND PROCESSING FEES TO
INCLUDE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEE FOR LETTERS OF ZONING/LAND USE
VERIFICATION: CONTRACTOR LICENSING LETTERS OF RECIPROCITY;
REGISTRA TION OF STATE CERTIFIED CONTRACTORS; PICTURES OF REGISTERED
CONTRACTORS; COMPUTER REPORT I,ESEARCH; ON-CALL INSPECTIONS; AND
ANNUAL REGISTRATION OF RENTAL DWELLING UNITS AS PROVIDED FOR IN
DIVISION I. lOaF TI IE COLLIER COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AND
PROVIDNG AN EFFECTIVE DA TE
WHEREAS. the Collier County Land Development Code. Section 1. I O. I provides that
the Board of County Commissioners shall establish and adopt by resolution a schedule of fees
and charges for application and document processing. public meetings. public hearings. other
meetings and hearings. transcripts. nrprovals. denials. development permits, development orders.
development. construction. interpretations. enforcement inspection services, sales of documents
rcvicv.'. rcsubmission. and any other zoning or development related services and any other
services provided or costs incurred hy or on behalf of the Ccunly: and
WHEREAS. the floard of County Commissioners appro,.ed Resolution No. 95-642.
estahlishing a fee schedule of development related review and prIXessing fees on November 14,
1995: and
WHEREAS. many operations within the Community Development and Environmental
Services Division are surrorteu by user fee revenues; and
WHEREAS. it is slalrs intent to conduct an annual cost/fee analysis in an attempt to
balance Fund 11] opcrJting costs with revenues: and
\VlIEREAS. the establishment ofa fee for letters ofzoninglland use veritication;
contractor licensing letters of reciprocity; registration of State certified contractors; pictures of
registered contractors: computer report research: on-call inspections; and annual registration of
rental dwelling units \\'ill allov..' the Division of Community Development and Environmental
Services to operate in a more cost efTicienl manner; and
WI IEREAS. the fluilding Review and Permitting Department aod the Engineering
Review Services Section provide reinspcctions and the costs associated with these reinspcclions
have risen higher than the amount charged by Collier County;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that
The Board of County Commissioners hereby declares that revised fees set forth,
attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as Exhibit A, arc fair and reasonable sums
to be assessed to those who receive the benefits of the services, reviews and inspections required
pursuant to the Land Development Code and the County pcmitting process.
8E IT FURTHER RESOL VED that this Resolution relating to fees in the Land
Development Corie be recorded in the minutes of this Board
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote favoring the same.
