A RESOLUTION APPOINTING EVERGLADES
CITY COUNCILMAN JAMES LANDRUM TO
THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-18 created the Tourist Development Council
and provides that the Council shall be composed of nine (9) members pursuant to Section
I 25.0104(4)(e), Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, due to the inability of an Everglades City municipal officer to attend meetings, a
vacancy is declared on the Council for a municipal officer; and
WHEREAS, a letter was received from Martha Napier, City Clerk, stating that the Mayor of
the City of Everglades requested the appointment of Councilman James Landrum to fulfill the
vacant term;
NOW, THEREFbRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Councilman James Landrum is
hereby appointed to the Tourist Development Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term,
said term expiring April 21, 2000.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
