AS PREVIOUSLY AMENDED BY DEVELOPMENT ORDER 90-7 AND DEVELOPMENT ORDER 95-4, FOR PELICAN STRAND DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT (DRI). PREVIOUSLY NAMED REGENCY VILLAGE OF NAPLES DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT (DRI); BY AMENDING ALL REFERENCES TO REGEtJCY VILLAGE OR REGENCY VILLAGE OF NAPLES TO PELICAN STRAND; BY AMENDING FINDINGS OF FACT. OF DEVELOPMENT ORDER 90-1 BY INCREASING ACREAGES; BY AMENDING VEGETATION AND WILDLlFE/WETLANDS TO ADD A PROVISION FOR A SQUIRREL HABITAT MANAGEMENT PLAN; AND BY AMENDING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT. WHEREAS, Pelican Strand. Ltd. (hereafter "developer"; submitted a Notice of Proposed Change for the Regency Village of Naples Development of Regional Impact, and petitioned the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida to amend the Regency Village of Naples Development Order, Collier County development Order 90.1, as previously amended by Development Orders 90-7 and 95-4; and WHEREAS, Developer desires to add 375.3 acres to the project; and WHEREAS, Developer desires to change the name of the project from Regency Village of Naples to Pelican Strand; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County. Florida, that: SECTION ONE: AMENDMENTS TO DEVELOPMENT ORDER The Regency Village of Naples Development Order (Resolution 90-67, as amended). is hereby amended to read as follows: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. The applicant submitted to the County an ADA and sufficiency responses known as composite Exhibit B, and by reference made a part hereof, to the extent that they are not inconsistent with the terms and conditions of this Order. The applicant proposes the development of Regeney Village sf Plaple3 PelicanStiilhil Planned Unit Development for i!OO~'74;6 acres which Includes: 30 acres of commercial uses to include a 260 room motel, 40,00" square feet of office commercial, and 120,000 square feet of retail commercial; 680 residential dwelling units on 67 acres; an l8-hole golf course iiWil~4!f!!t! on 43 \E7li~ acres; ~ gIll' acres of conservation areas; i!-i!
