A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE FINAL APPLICATION
FOR A STATE REVOLVING LOAN FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF
THE SOUTH COUNTY REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
FACILITI ES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, as EX-Officio the Governing Board of the Collier County
Water-Sewer District, on May 7, 1996 adopted a resolution
approving the 201 Wastewater Facilities Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, as EX-Officio the Governing Board of the Collier County
Water-Sewer District, on May 7, 1996 adopted Resolution No. 96-227
Resolution CWS No. 96-7, authorizing an application for a state
Revolving Fund Loan to finance the construction of the Collier
County south County Wastewater Treatment Facility as contained in
the 201 Facilities Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, on September 17, 1996, a public hearing was
conducted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to
approve the SRF Program priority list in which the Collier County
South County Wastewater Treatment Facility project was elevated to

the fundable portion of the Priority list; and
WHEREAS, a final application for SRF Program funding must be
submitted by November 10, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS EX-OFFICIO THE
GOVERNING BOARD OF THE COLLIER COUNTY WATER-SEWER DISTRICT, that
the Board hereby approves the application for the FOEP state
Revolving Loan Program for improvements to the Collier County
South County Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility and authorizes
the Public Works Administrator to sign the application as the
County's authorized representative.
