RESOLUTION NO. 96-459
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ERIC E. BAIRD
TO THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS. Collier County adopted Ordinance No. 91-38 cre<lting the Black Affairs
Advisory Board and provides that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-77 amended Ordinance No. 91-38 by
providing that the Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a recommendation for
appointment from the Black Affairs Advisory Board;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA. that Ene E. Baird is hereby

appointed 10 the Black Affairs Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said
term to expire on June 25, 1998.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
