RESOLUTION NO. 96 -439
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF AN
AGREEMENT nETWEEN THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIllS AND COLLIlER COUNTY REGARDING EMERGENCY
J\1A.lIi'AGEMENT PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS
WHEREAS, the: Stat. of Florida Departm.nt of Community Affairs has grant funds available
for Collier County to spend to improve Emergency Management PrepamIness and, subject to
execution of a Grant Agreement betwc:n the State and the County, is authorized to disburse GRANT
funds to Colli.r County; and
WHEREAS, the State, by means of proposed Grant Agreement No. 97CP-OS-09-21-01-011
is agreeing to provide, by means of ...imhursement for costs incurred by the County in the satisfactory
perfonnance of that Agreement, up 10 $91,090.00 for the items of performance agreed to in said
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Colli.r County agrees that performance
of the subject Agreement is in the best interests of Colli.r County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Board h.reby approves the
Agreement #97CP-OS-09-2I-O 1-011 bet"~n the Stat. of Florida Departm.nt of Community Affairs
and Colli.r County as presented to the BC<lfd for review, and h....by authorizes the Board's Chairman
to .xecut. the Agreement on b.half of Collier County.
