RESOLUTION APPROVING TilE AMENDED 1I0USING ASSISTANCE PLAN AS
REQUIRED BY TilE FLORIDA STATE 1I0USING INITIATIVES PARTNERSIIIP
ISHIPI PROGRAM; WllICII AUTHORIZES TilE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
ORIGINALY ALLOCATED FOR IMPACT FEE WAIVERS, RENTAL
REHABILITATION AND AVAILABLE CARRY FORWARD PER AUDIT AS OF
SEPTEMBER 30, 1995, TO THE COLLIER COUNTY S.H.f.P. DOWN
PA YMENT/CLOSING COST ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR FIRST TIME
HOMEBUYERS; AND A UTlIORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF THE AMENDED
LOCAL 1I0USING ASSISTANCE PLAN TO TilE FLORIDA HOUSING FINANCE
AGENCY FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL; AND APPROVING TilE EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida.
enacted Collier County Ordinance No 93-19 on April 23, 1993 establishing the Collier County
Local Housing Assistance Plan, and
WHEREAS, the ordinance was forwarded to the Department of Community AfTairs
for approval; and
WIIEREAS, the Local Housing Assistance Plan established strategies and program
guidelines for the administration of funds received through Collier County's participation in the
.'
State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP); and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 95-32 on
April 25. 1995 which permits amendments to the Local Housing Assistance Plan by resolution;
and
WIIEREAS, the Collier County Department of Housing and Urban Improvement
recommends transferring the sums of$325,OOO for Impact Fee Relief. $30,000 for Rental
Rehabilitation and $170,000 from available Carry Forward to the Collier County SHIP Down
PaymenilClosing Cost Assistance Program for first lime homebuyers; and
WIIEREAS, the Collier County Housing and Urban Improvement Department stafT
recommends the attached amendment to the Local Housing Assistance Plan

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida:
1, The amendment to the Local Housing Assistance Plan is approved, a copy of which
is attached to this resolution.
2, StafT is directed to forward a copy of the Local Housing Assistance Plan to the
State of Florida Housing Finance Agency for review and approval.
3, This Resolution will take place immediately upon its adoption, and in the case of
any conflict, shnll supersede previous resolutions,
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority favoring same.
