Resolution 1991-821 DECEMBER 17, 1991 RESOLUTION NO. 91- R?l A RESOLUTION OF' THE BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH ITS INTENT TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR COLLECTION OF NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS FOR RIGHTS-OF-WAY MAINTENANCE, WATER MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE AND DEBT SERVICE ON OUTSTANDING WATER MANAGEMENT BONDS. WHEREAS, the Board ot County commissioners ot Collier County, Florida, established the Pelican Bay Municipal Service Taxing and Benetit Unit tor the purpose ot providing water management and beautification including but not limited to beautitication ot recreation tacilities, sidewalk, street and median areas and the maintenance ot conservation or preserve areas (hereinatter reterred to as COUNTY); and WHEREAS, intends rights-ot-way COUNTY tinance to maintenance, water management operations and maintenance and debt service on outstanding water management bonds through the levy ot a special assessment to those properties benetited by the project. Said properties are located within the boundaries described in attached Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, provides a unitorm method of collecting such assessments and said Section requires that the COUNTY adopt a resolution at a public hearing prior to January 1 stating its intent to use the uniform method ot collecting such assessment; and WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida statutes, also requires that the COUNTY publish notice of its intent to use the uniform method tor collecting such assessments weekly in a newspaper ot general circulation within each county contained in the boundaries of the COUNTY tor tour consecutive weeks prior to the hearing; and WHEREAS, the COUNTY has published the required notice.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF' COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. A copy ot this Resolution shall be mailed by united states mail to the Collier County Property Appraiser, the Collier County Tax Collector, and the State ot Florida Department ot Revenue by January 10, 1992. 4. It is anticipated that the special assessment tor rights-ot-way maintenance and water management, operations and maintenance shall be collected over a period ot one year. 5. It is anticipated that the special assessment for debt service on outstanding water management bonds shall be collected over a period ot years.
