A RESOLUTION APPOINTING, REAPPOINTING,
AND CONFIRMING Tile APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS
TO Tile OCI!OPEE FIRE CONTROl. ADVISORY BOARD.
WIIEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 75-6 created the Ochopee Fire District and
provides for the establishment of an advisory board; and
W!tEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No. 89-98 confirmed the creation of the Ochopee Fire
District Advisory Board and provides titat the advisory broad shall be composed of five (5)
members and such membership shall consist of one (1) member from each of tile designated ayeas;
and
WIIEREAS. there are currently vacancies on this board; and
WI IERF. AS, the Bo;,rd of County Conmlissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties, and
WilEREAS. tl~e Ochopee Fire ('ont~ol District Advisory Board has provided its
recommendations fi:,r appointment; and
W!IEREAS. the City of Everglades has reappointed Charles R. Reynolds to titis Board and is
seeking confirmation of this appointment
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BF. IT RESOLVED BY Tile BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COI.LIER COl 'NTY. FLORIDA, that:
I. Michael B llan meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby reappointed to the
Ochopce Fire Control Advisory Board tbr a 2 year term. said term to expire on I)ccember 3 I.

2. John L. Perinell meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to tile
Ochopee Fire Control AdviseD' Board tbr a 2 year term, said term to expire on December 3 I,

3. Charles R. Reynolds meets the prerequisites tbr appointment and is hereby confirmed for
reappointment to the Ochopee Fire Control Advisory Board for a 2 year term, said term to expire
on December 31,200 I
BE IT FUWFtlER RESOLVED that tile Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
hereby waives the provisions of Seclion Seven (b)(I) of Ordinance No. 86-41. as amended.
relating to a limitation of two consecutixe terms of office, for the purpose of reappointment of
Michael I [art and Charles Reynolds to this Board
