A RESOLUTION APPOINTING, REAPPOINTING AND
CONFIRMING TIlE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO
T!l E EMERGENCY MEI)ICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WIIEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No 80-80 created the Emergency Medical Services
Advisory Council and provides that the Advisory Council shall be composed of eleven (I I)
regular members, three (3) ex-offlcio members and two (2) staff members; and
WHEREAS, the Board adopted Resolution No. 90-527 on October 30. 1990 which revised
and updated the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council's by-laws by providing that the
Advisory Council include two members At Large; and
WI IEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Council; and
WI IEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications From interested panics; and
WI tEREAS, suggestions For appointments were received From the Emergency Medical
Services Advisory Council.
NOW, TllEREFORE, BE IT RESOI~VEI) BY TIlE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Fay R. Biles is hereby reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council
for a 3 year term. said term expiring August 31,2002.
2..lane Andel is hereby appointed to the Emergency Medical Sero'ices Advisory Council to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring August 3 I, 2000.
3. Kathryn M Godfrey is hereby appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory
Council for a 3 year term, said term expiring August 3 I, 2000.
4. The following members are hereby confirmed for appointment to the Emergency Medical
Services Advisory Council
