RESOLUTION NO. 99-~31
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
TilE COLLIER COUNTY AIHPORT AUTHOHlTY.
WHEREAS. the Ooard of Counly Commissioners, on November 14, 1995, adopted Collier
County Ordinance No. 95-67 which crealed Ihe Collier Counly Airport AUlhority; and
WIIEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-67 provides that the Collier County Airport Authority shall
consist of seven (7) members that arc residents of Collier County with business ability and
experience in one Of more fields which include, but arc not limited to, general business, economic
development. aviation, public an"airs. 13\,,', linal1c~. accounting, engineering, nalural resource
conservation or other relaled fields; and
WIIEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-67 also provides thai al leasl one of the seven (7) members
sball be from each oflhe communities oflmmokalee, Marco Island, and Everglades Cily; and
WHEREAS, there are eurrenlly two (2) vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, lhe Ooard of Counly Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested partics and conducted interviews oflhe various applicants.
NOW, THEREFORE, OE IT RESOLVED 0)' TilE OOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, Ihat:
I. Robert E. Doyle, Jr., is hereby reappointed to the Collier County Airport Authorily to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term 10 expire on August 10, 2003.
2. Karl II. Geng is hereby appoinled to the Collier County Airport Authority to fullill the
remainder of the vacant term, said lerm to expire on August 10. 200 I.
