A RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE COLLIER
COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE COMMITTEE
BY ONE MEMBER AND TO APPOINT DR. PETER
NGUYEN TO THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY
! IEALTH CARE COMMITTEE.
~AS, on May 11, 1999, the Board of County Commi~ioner~ adopted Re~olutlon No.
99-230. establishing the ad hoc committee known u the Collier County Conununity Health Care
WHEP~AS, the Collier County Community Health Care Committee is composed of 9 health
care providers, I I community leaders, $ advisors, and 3 At-Large members to the Collier County
Community HeaJth Care Committee; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Collier County Community Health Care
Committee to increase its membership by one to include a category of dental health; and
WHEREAS, the Committee recommends that Dr. Peter Nguyen be appointed to the Collier
County Community Health Care Commktee to fill the dental health category.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board hereby increases the membership of the Collier County Community Health
Care Committee by one member to include a dental heaJth category.
2. Dr. Peter Nguyen is hereby appointed to the Collier County Community Health Care
Committee to fill the category ofdental health.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
