WIIEREAS, Section 200.065, Florida Statutes, provides procedures fiw fixing the millage
rates; and
WIIERI:,AS. Section 129.03, Florida Slatulcs. sets forlh Itc procedure {br preparation and
adoption of the Budget; and
\VI IEREAS. tile Board of County Commissioners has received and cxmnincd the tentative
braigets for each of the County's timds inchiding all estimated receipts, taxes to bc levied and
balances expected to bc brought fom,.'ard, and all estimated expenditures, rcscn'cs and bahraces to
be carried over at the end of the year: and
WHEREAS, Section 200.065. Florida Statutes. provides Ihat the Board of Cornfly
Commissioners shall hold public hearings to adopt the tcnlativc budgets.

I. The proposed millage rates as set forIll in the allached Exhibit "A" aml incorporated
herein are hereby approved as the County's proposed millage talcs pursuant tn Sections 12{).1}3
and 200.065, Florida Statutes.
2. Tile public hearings to adopt the 1999/00 amended tentative budgels and 1999/00 final
millage rates amt budgets, respectively, pursuant to Section 200.065, Florida Statutes, will be
held by the Board of County Commissioners on September 7. 1999. at 5:05 P.M.. al Itc ('oilier
(?ounty Government Center, Administration Building. Third Floor Boardrotan. 3301 East
Tamtaint Trail. Naples, Florida, and on September 22. 1909, at 5:(t5 PM.. at the ('oilier County
Government Center, Administration Building, Third Floor 11oardroom. 331)I East Tamiami Trail,
Naples. Florida.
Illis Resolution was adopted after motion, second, and majority vote.
