authorizing the County staff to acquire by gift. purchase or condemnation certain easements and/or fee
simple tille to the property and property interests required and necessary for the Golden Gale
Boulevard four-laning roadway improvemeres of Golden (iale Boulevard bet~'een C R 051 and
Wilson Boulevard; and
WIIEREAS. the parcels described in this Resolution include Parcels 305-31o, 321-321T. and
323-327T; and
WIIEREAS, the location for constn~clion of the proposed improvements has been fixed by
su~'ey and is collectively represented by the legal descriptions comprising Exhibit ".V' at~ached hereto
and incorporated herein; and

WHEREAS, after consideration of' the availability ot alternate routes and locations. the
comparative costs of project alternatives, various impacts upon the environment. long range planning
options, and public safety considerations, the Board desires to exercise its right to condemn property
for public purposes.
NOW. T!IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that it has been determined by the Board
that the construction of' the four-laning roadway improvements for the Golden Gate Boulevard
bctwecn C. R 951 and Wilson Boulevard, (hereinafter referred to as "the Project") is necessary and in
the public's best interest in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Collier
Counly
AND IT IS FURTilER RESOLVED that construction of the Project is part of the County's
long range planning efToft, and is included in the Transportation Element of the County's
Comprehensive Plan for Growth Management. as approved hv the Florida Deparlmcnt of Community
Affairs.
AND IT IS FURTIlER RESOLVED that the County Staff bas reviewed alternative locations
for the project. various impacts to the environmental, public safety and welfare considerations
associated with the design and construction of the project, and the costs associated wilh tile design,
property rights acquisition. and construction of the project; and the Board finds titat after
consideration of these issues, the most feasible location for conslrt,ction of the proposed
improvements is collectively represented by the legal descriptions comprising Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that in order to conslruct the projecl as designed. it is
necessary for the Board to acquire the various real property interests described Exhibit "A" to wit the
perpetual. non-exclusive road right-of-way. sidewalk. utility. drainage. maintenance and temporary
driveway restoration interests by easement
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that all propert}.., shall be put Io public purposes,
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the County staff is hereby authorized to immedialely
acquire by gift. purchase or condemnation in accordance wilh the provisions of Chapters 73. 74 and
127. Florida Statutes, the above-referenced real property interests more particularly described in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that no mobile homes are located on the property sought
to be acquired and therefore it will not be necessary to remove any mobile homes front the property to
be acquired.
