RESOLUTION ^UTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF ^PPROXI~TELY ONE
HUNDRED DOLLARS TO PURCHASE A P~QUE TO RECOGNIZE ^
MEMORI^L TREE DONATION
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-5 provides that public
funds may be expended to purchase plaques to honor and identify the
donors of services and property donated to Collier County; and
WHEREAS, expenditures of Collier county funds authorized by
Ordinance No. 87-5 must first be authorized by the Board of County
commissioners on a case-by-c8SB basis; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department wishes to recognize a
donation of a memorial tree in memory of Rob Lenzi for the purpose of
beautification of Collier County parks and recreation facilities: and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has requested that the
Board of County Commissioners authorize the expenditure of a sum of
County funds not to exceed one hundred dollars to purchase a plaque to
recognize the donation of a memorial tree in memory of Rob Lenzi: and
WHERE^S, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to join with the
Parks and Recreatlon Department in recognizing the momory of Rob Lenzi.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BO~D OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
The Parks and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to expend
a sum of County funds not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) to
purchase a plaque in honor of the memory of Rob Lenzi.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote
favoring the same.
