RESOLUTION NO. 96-301
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING
MEMBERS TO THE FOREST LAKES ROADWAY
AND DRAINAGEADYffiORYCOMMmnEE

WHEREAS, on March 10, 1992, the Board of County Conunissioners of CoUier County
adopted Ordinance No. 92-16 which created the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage Advisory
Conunittee for the purpose of assisting the Board in providing and maintaining improved roadway
related drainage and roadway restoration as set forth in County Ordinance No. 91-107; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage
Advisory Conunittee; and
WHEREAS, the term of one (1) member has expired; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, a memorandum was received from staff advising that the conunittee has made
its recommendation for appointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
I. Thomas P. Watts is hereby appointed to the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage
Advisory Conunittee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on April 21,
1998.
2. Roger L. Somerville is hereby reappointed to the Forest Lakes Roadway and Drainage
Advisory Conunittee for a four year term, said term to expire ~~ April 21, 2000.
