RESOLUTION RENAMING ELKCAM CIRCLE TO
"EAST ELKCAM CIRCLE", WHICH STREET IS
LOCATED EAST OF BALD EAGLE DRIVE (S.R.
953) AND "WEST ELKCAI': CIRCLE" FOR THAT
PORTION LOCATED WES< OF BALD EAGLE DRIVE
(S.R. 953) LOCATED ON MARCO ISLAND, IN
SECTIONS 6 , B, TOWNSHIP 52 SOUTH, RANGE
26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is authorized pursuant
to authority of Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename
streets and roads, except tor certain state roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board ot County Commissioners has been requested to
confirm the renaming of Elkcam Circle to East Elkcam Cirole and West
Elkcam circle. This street is located in Sections 6 & 8, Township 52
South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, according to the plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 6, Pages 47-54, of the Official Records
of Collier County, Florida;
WHEREAS, there appears to be no street in Collier County with this
name or any similar sounding name; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for identification purposes to confirm
the name of this street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
The name of this street is hereby changed from Elkcam Circle and,
for that portion lying East of Bald Eagle Drive (S.R. 953) confirmed as
East Elkcam circle; and for that portion lying West of Bald Eagle Drive
(S.R. 953) confirmed as West Elkcam Circle.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the
Public Records of Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of
the street and zoning atlases of Collier County, and notations made on
the referenced Plat.
