RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 224
A RESOLUTION ENACTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OP COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE 83-7, WHICH
ESTABLISHED A SYSTEM OP PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION
POR THE GOVERNKENT OP COLLIER COUNTY, PLORIDA
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 83-7 states that the
Board of County Commissioners shall adopt rules and regulations
which provide classification of all positions based on duties,
authority, and responsibility of each position, and
WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 93-416 which adopted
the current Collier County Personnel Rules and Regulations,
pruvides in Section 0210(C) (1) that amendments to the Pay Plan
shall be considered by the Human Resources Director when changes
of responsibilities of work or classes, living costs, availabilqty
of lahor supply, prevailing rates of pay, the County's financial
condition and policies, or other pertinent economic considerations
warrant such a,- on.
Said section further provides that
amendments In\..,t be recommended to the Board of County
Commis~ioncrs by resolution; and
~mERE" , th" Board of County Commissioners adopted
I' .011.. on 110. 96-122 approving the 1996-97 Pay Plan, and
~. HE; , the County Manager recommended that the position of
Ehecutive Assistant to the County Manaqer and other positions
resulting from reorganization of the County Manager's Office be
added to the Pay Plan and adopted by subsequent resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
1) The pre~~nt County Pay Plan as set forth in and adopted
by Resolution No. 96-122 is hereby amended to approve the addition
of the foll--wing positions that are a result from the
reorganization of the County Manager's office. The Classification
Specifications for the new positions that are attached hereto as
Exhibit "An and incorporated herein, are as follows:
