RESOLUTION NO. 96-198
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MICHAEL A. DA VIS TO TIlE
EMERGENCY MEDIAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNSEL.
WHEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No. 80-80 created the Emergency Medical Services
Advi50ry Council and provides that the Advi50ry Council shall be composed of eleven (II)
regular members, three (3) ex-officio member. and two (2) Ilaffmembers; and
WHEREAS, the Board adopted Re50lution No. 90-527 on October 30,1990 which revised
and updated the Emergency Medical Services Advi50ry Council's by-laws by providing that the
Advisory Council include two members At Large; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two (2) vacancies on this Council; and
WHEREAS. the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, a letter was received from a resigning member of the Council requesting that
the Board of County Commissioners confirm the appointment ofa new member for replacement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMlSSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
I. Michael A. Davis, representing Commission District 3 is hereby appointed to the
Emergency Services Advi50ry Council to fill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring
August 31, 1997.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
