RESOLUTION NO. 96- 187

A RESOLUTION AUTIIORIZING EXECUTION OF A HlGH-
WAY LANDSCAPING AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, many roadside areas and median strips abutting Department of
Transportation right-of-way areas must be maintained and attractively landscaped; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Comly Commissioners of Collier Comly desires to
beautify and improve the right-of-way area of State Road 29 (Main Street) in .
Irnmokalee, Collier County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to enter into a Highway
Landscaping Agreement between Collier County and the Florida Departm~nt of
Transportation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Comty
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, does hereby authorize its chairman to execute
llII agreement entitled "Highway Landscaping Agreement" between Collier County and
the State of Florida Department of Transportation, agreeing to install and maintain
landscaping improvements within the right-of-way area of State Road 29 in
Immokalee, Collier County, Florida.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
