RESOLUTION NO. 96-148
RESOLUTION APPOINTING PENNY ADAMS FIELD TO THE
COLLIER COUNTY COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS.
WHEREAS, the Board ot County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 94-26 on May 10, 1994, estab1ishinq the Collier County council
of Economic Advisors to provide assistance, advice, reports and
rec01lllllendations to the Board of County cOlDlllissioners regarding
efficient and effective methods that the Board of County
commissioners can use to increase economic opportunities and
increase and diversify the economic base in collier county; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-6, amended ordinance No. 94-26 by
increasing the number of voting members from 9 to 12 and removing
the non-voting alternate category; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one (1) vacancy on the council ot
Economic Advisers; and
WHEREAS, the Board ot county commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Penny Adams field
ia hereby appointed to the Collier County council of Economic
Advisors to fill the remainder of the vacant plus an additional
four (4) year term, said term to expire August 2, 2000.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
. vote.
