RESOLUTION NO. 96-147
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING GARLAND EDMONSON
TO THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, collier County Ordinance No. 91-38 creating the
Black Affaire Advisory Board provid88 that the Advieory Board
ahall consiat of ..van (7) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-77 amended Ordinance
No. 91-38 by providing that the Advieory Board ehall cone1et of
nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the Black Affairs
Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from intereeted
parties; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a
recommendation for appointment from the BlaCk AUairs Advisory
Board; and
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Garland Edmonson i.
hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board to fulfill
the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on June 25,
1997.
This Resolution adopted after motion, sscond and majority
vote.
