RESOLUTION NO. 96-~
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
ACCEPTANCE OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
AND COLLIER COUNTY FOR STATE AND LOCAL
(SLA) EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE
FUNDING FOR FY 1996
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has not yet paseed a budqet for
Fiscal Year 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has made a limited amount of
fundinq available by continuinq resolution for certain proqrams
throuqh the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Community Affairs in Aqreement
#96EM-6U-09-21-10-011 has aqreed to provide $9,617.75 as an interim
sum for the items of performance aqreed to in said aqreement;
NOW THERBFORB BB IT RBSOLVED BY THB BOARD OF COUNTY
COKKISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Board approves the
Aqreement #96EM-6U-09-21-10-011 between the State of Florida
Department of Community Affairs and Collier County in substantially
the form attached hereto; and authorizes the Chairman to executs and
accept the Agreement with all the understandings and assurances
contained therein, and to act in connection with said Agreement.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
