RESOLUTION NO. 96-138
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Parks ~nd Recreation Advisory Board was created
on November 25, 1975 and was composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on October 26,
1993 adopted Ordinance No. 93-81 which increased the member.hip
from five (5) members to seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two (2) vacancies on this Board;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice solicitinq applications from intsrested
partiss.
NOli, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUllTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Gayle L. Stan is hereby appointed to the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board to fill the remainder of the vacaht
term, said term to expire on December 31, 1997.
2. Elaine M. lIicks is hereby reappointed to the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board to fill the remainder of the vacant
term, said term to expire on December 31, 1998.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
