RESOLUTION NO. 96-137
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-18 created the
Tourist Development Council and provides that the council shall be
composed of nine (9) members, pursuant to Section 125.0104,
Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, there are currently three (3) vacancies on the
Tourist Development Council; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Julie K. Burt, representing the owner/operator category,
is hereby appointed to the Tourist Development Council to fill the
remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring April 21, 1998.
2. Donald J. York, representing the non-owner/operator
category, is hereby appointed to the Tourist Development Council
for a term of four years, said term expiring April 21, 2000.
3. John J. Dougherty, representing the owner/operator
category, is hereby appointed to the Tourist Development Council
for a term of four years, said term expiring April 21, 2000.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
