"XRBAS, Section 130-66(2) (i) ot the Collier County Code ot
Laws and ordinances provides that no person shall stop, stand or
park a vehicle at any place where otticial siqns prohibit or
r.strict parking, or in excess ot the time period specified by
the respective sign; and
WKEREAB, the Board of County Commissioners desires to remove
any ambiquity whether such siqns at the Government Complex (3301
Tamiami Trail East) are "otticial" within the context ot Section
130-66(2) (i) ot the County Code, the aame beinq a coditication ot
County Ordinance No. 80-47, as amended; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution is adopted pursuant to Section
130-34(b) of the Collier County Code as an expression of the
Board'. policy regarding the subject signs at the Government
COlIplex.

All siqna listed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
hereot are hereby attirmed as "otticial" aiqns ot Collier
within Chapter 130 ot the Collier County Code.
2. All siqns that prohibit or requlate parkinq, standinq, or
stopping of vehicles hereaftBr installed by the County at the
Government Complex shall upon posting automatically become
.otticial" siqna without turther authorization trom the Board.
J. Violation of any such official siqn now existinq or
hereinatter posted will be subject to the applicable tinea aa
then .pecitied by Collier County Ordinance.
4. Aa used herein the word "posted" refers to any sign that
i. on a .ign post, is a wall sign, is painted on any road or
other ground level surface, or is affixed by any other means
whatsoever.
